Thousands of children and hundreds of the best athletes from around the world competed in the Armagh International Road Races, with the first race having started at 6:30pm.

The 2025 Armagh International Road Races were undoubtedly a success, with thousands from across the globe turning out to watch the spectacle which saw multiple records broken, including a new World Record by 16-year-old Swedish athlete, Sebastian Larstad, who finished third in the Men's 5k with a time of 13:35, edging Jakob Ingebrigsten's previous record.
The course record for the International Men's 5k was smashed by the the leading three athletes with USA's Andrew Colley winning the event with a spectacular time of 13:33!
As the originator of this post simply said: "It's hard to explain how special this night of racing is..."
